Frequently asked questions about noise and vibration issues, and how we work with shipyards, owners and captains.

The most frequent are structural vibration transmitted through engines and shafts, propeller cavitation, HVAC system noise, vibration from at-anchor generators, and insufficient acoustic isolation between cabins. TSI diagnoses each case through on-site measurements before proposing a solution.
We are a 100% independent partner: we do not sell equipment. We carry out onboard measurements, impartially analyze the root cause, and recommend the exact technical solution, with no conflict of interest with manufacturers or shipyards.
We have a global emergency response protocol in place. Our technical team can travel to any port in the world, typically within 24 to 48 hours depending on location and availability.
Both. We provide support from conceptual design through sea trials on new-build projects, and we also carry out diagnostics, troubleshooting and predictive maintenance (CBM) on yachts already in service or undergoing refit.
