In June 2016 took placed in Petronor facilities (Musliz) the Vibration Analyst Category I Certification in accordance with ISO 18436-2 for a group of technicians from Dynamic Verification Department.

This specialized seminar is focused to improve the security and availability of the plant within Petronor´s Continuous Improvement Program.

This seminar developed under Vibration Institute methodology has been imparted by Mr. Beltran, manager of TSI, who has over 38 years of experience in vibration and noise engineering solutions in all types of facilities

This seminar in accordance with ISO 18436-2 trained attendees a review of vibration concepts basic concepts, as well as an agenda aimed at staff expertise in making data acquisition and vibration to ensure the effectiveness of the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Program that has been developed in the plant. The program is completed with a specific introduction in diagnosis in the most common faults in rotating and alternative machinery in this type of facilities.

The training program aims the update of the participants´ knowledge and their preparation to pass the Certification Vibration Institute exam.

With this objective, the teaching program, and the initiative of TSI, incorporates a specific module “Exam Simulation” that allows participants to familiarize themselves with the terms of the restrictive exam, mandatory requirement to obtain certification of that organism.

As Client´s Satisfaction Index 9.3 points out of 10 has been obtained; being the percentage of technicians who have successfully passed the certification test CAT I 100%.
