Specialized training course
Vibration Analysis in Diesel Engines and Gas Turbines Course.Customer Satisfaction Index 8.99%
Objectives:
This course provides specialised training in vibration analysis applied to diesel engines, gas turbines, and turbo-compressor systems used in marine and power generation environments.
The main objective is to reduce operation and maintenance costs by enabling participants to analyse operating conditions, identify critical maintenance issues, and prevent typical failures before they occur through vibration measurement, analysis, and monitoring techniques.
The course includes mentoring and hands-on training in vibration spectrum analysis, fault identification, and diagnostic interpretation, with particular focus on common failure modes in diesel engines, gas turbines, and turbo-compressors. Participants will also learn to define and manage the main stages of a condition-based maintenance (CBM) programme applied to these assets.
Real industrial case studies are analysed throughout the course, covering diagnosis and resolution of complex failures. Special attention is given to fault cases brought by participants, as well as to continuous condition monitoring and protection systems for critical equipment on board vessels and in power generation facilities.
Aimed at:
Maintenance technicians, plant managers, engineering and project departments, department managers, and quality control professionals working in cogeneration and combined cycle power plants.
Basic knowledge of vibration analysis or condition monitoring methodologies is recommended, but not mandatory.
