Objectives:
This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical tools required to design, implement, or assess a comprehensive Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) programme, from scratch and within a six-month timeframe.
The main objective is to reduce operation and maintenance costs by identifying critical maintenance issues before typical equipment failures occur, using vibration measurement, analysis, and monitoring techniques.
The course includes mentoring and hands-on training in vibration spectrum analysis and fault detection, as well as the definition and management of the main stages of a CBM project.
Special attention is given to continuous condition monitoring and protection systems applied to critical equipment, with particular focus on marine and industrial assets.
Aimed at:
Naval officers and heads of departments, operations supervisors, maintenance managers, systems integrators, and engineers working with civil and military vessels, with a professional interest in Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM).
No prior knowledge or previous experience in CBM methodologies or associated tools is required.
