The 48th International Congress and Exhibition on Noise Control Engineering, also known as INTERNOISE, opened its doors on Sunday, June 16. This important and outstanding event that is held at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos, IFEMA, in Campo de las Naciones, Madrid, will close its doors on Wednesday, June 19. SEA ( Spanish Society of Acoustics ) and i-Ince ( International Institute of Noise Control Engineering ). During the days of the event, I have been able to find presentations of research works, counters with equipment and systems of Control and Measurement of Noise and Vibrations. Another of the great attractions of this event is the presentations of experts in the sector being the main topics: Acoustic Materials, Active Control of Sound & Vibration, Aircraft Noise, Architectural & Building Acoustics, Environmental Noise, Industrial Noise… On June 18, at the 3rd INTERNOIS2019 Conference, Mr. Publio Beltrán, an expert of recognized prestige in these areas, Founder and General Director of TSI S.L ( Techniques and Engineering Services ) Engineering specialized in vibrations and noises with more than 30 years of experience, presented a paper on: “Shipbuilding and new requirements for reduction of environmental impact of Ships:  New technological challenges and business opportunities” With exceptional assistance from specialists in the sector.
