Specialized training course
Failure Analysis and Root Cause Investigation – Case Studies.Customer Satisfaction Index 8.58%
Objectives:
This course is designed to provide participants with a practical and structured approach to the analysis of equipment failures and unplanned breakdowns across industrial assets.
The main objective is to develop the skills required to investigate failure events, identify their root causes, and define effective corrective and preventive actions in order to reduce unexpected shutdowns, minimise maintenance costs, and improve equipment reliability.
The course introduces practical failure analysis and root cause investigation methodologies, supported by real industrial case studies covering a wide range of mechanical and rotating equipment. Emphasis is placed on vibration-based diagnostics, operating condition analysis, and complementary testing techniques to support decision-making.
Throughout the course, real failure cases are analysed in detail, including fault scenarios presented by participants, encouraging technical discussion and hands-on problem-solving based on real operating conditions.
Aimed at:
Maintenance technicians, plant managers, engineering departments, project managers, and quality control professionals.
Prior knowledge of failure analysis methodologies and associated tools is recommended. Completion of the TSI Predictive Maintenance (PdM) course is advised.
