The objective of URN- Underwater Radiated Noise, it\u00b4s control and limit the environmental impact on marine fauna of all self-propelled ships and provide a standard and a system to assess compliance with specific vessel requirements for\u00a0underwater radiated noise.  This notation covers both shallow and deep water conditions, sets out a dedicated comprehensive measurement procedure, and sets specific\u00a0underwater noise level requirements.  This Class Notation is the result of the investigations carried out in the European Project AQUO, that based on submarine noise and its consequences and in which TSI has participated obtained a fantastic result.
