Técnicas y Servicios de Ingeniería (TSI) was present in the VIII Marine Engineering Seminar organized by the Colombian navy on October 3rd, 4th and 5th. This year, the seminar was focused on asset reliability and in it, companies like Naval Group, Navantia, Shottle, Bureau Veritas or Thales presented their latest achievements in this field. TSI exposed how and in which way the condition based maintenance will experience a deep transformation in the next decade and what are the required steps for any organization to implement an efficient maintenance programme exploiting the full potential of the new IT technologies. In this regard, TSI presented its latest achievements and developments in this field. Within them, it is worth mentioning the new system IDAO, a software platform and multi-technology data collector designed to assist and digitalize operators and technicians, as well as the integration of different existing condition based maintenance monitoring systems into Big Data architectures enabling technicians to correlate different sources of data exploiting their full added value.   viii marine engineering seminar organized by the Colombian Navy 2018
